English Language & Academic Requirements

For course specific requirements, please refer to the admissisons criteria page.

Minimum Age Requirement

To be eligible for admission, you must be 18 years of age at the time of enrolment in the course or subject.

If you do not meet the minimum age requirement for admission to AIHE, you may be offered a place in the course or subject for the beginning of the semester in which the minimum age requirement will be satisfied.

Genuine Temporary Entrance Requirements

International offshore students are required to pass the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) assessment to be admitted in AIHE. AIHE will make an assessment of the genuineness of an applicant’s intention to complete their studies at AIHE. Questions in the GTE assessment package are targeting areas that AIHE will base its assessment on, and the Department of Home Affairs may be interested in during your visa application. AIHE must be satisfied that you are a genuine student before giving you an offer.

Please refer to the GTE Assessment Form before you apply.
